Jeff Callahan: 1955-2019

Jeff Callahan

SaintLouisWrestling.com has just learned of promoter Jeff Callahan’s passing, on September 1.

Jeff was the promoter and partner of Wrestling Invades America (WIA), the direct predecessor of Wrestling Over Everything (WOE).

Jeff Callahan was one of the most kind and intelligent men in Saint Louis independent wrestling. He was a positive influence on WIA and a major factor in turning the company into a respectable wrestling organization by its end.

Outside the ring, Callahan was well-known in Collinsville for his position at Porter’s Steakhouse, where I’ve heard he was the best wine steward there ever was.
