Before 2011, SICW promoter Herb Simmons rarely had any championships exclusive to his company. A tag team championship was sanctioned at least in 1992, but nothing else is known.
On August 17, 2019, SICW rebooted its promotion-exclusive tag team championship when The Professionals (Shawn Santel & Mauler McDarby) faced the Coffin Club (Sean Vincent & Khayman).
