The South Broadway Athletic Club hosts MMWA Wrestling on Saturday, June 9. In a rarity, the main event will be decided by fans via this Facebook poll.
The winner of the poll faces Brian James for “Da Bomb’s” MMWA strap. Right now, Damion Cortess is the frontrunner. Cortess has become a social media darling in the last few months, and he impressively squashed his last opponent (Flaming Freddie Fury) in a minute.
Also on the card, Moondog and Big Texan square off to see who will become the next heavyweight title mandatory challenger.

The biggest event of the year for SICW Wrestling Explosion is at the East Carondelet Community Center on Saturday, May 19.
The card is topped with two cage matches, one featuring the return of Ricky Cruz against Chris Hargas, and the other for the promotion’s Classic title.
Marc Houston defends the title for the second time, as his opponent Flash Flanagan attempts to win the crown for an unprecedented fourth time. Can Flanagan do it in his victory lap year?
The Brody Memorial battle royal is a SICW tradition. Past winners have been: Sean Vincent, The Big Texan, Ron Powers, and Heath Hatton.

Brian James defends his MMWA title against Deacon Cash in the main event of an important card at the South Broadway Athletic Club on Saturday, May 12.
Brian James, Gary Jackson, The Big Texan, and Moondog Rover: to former cruiserweight king Deacon Cash, these men all represent the “old guard” of South Broadway’s pro wrestling franchise.
Knocking the vets down a peg would be quite the accomplishment for the outspoken Bellefontaine, Mo. wrestler.
The match is “Da Bomb” Brian James’s first defense and Cash’s first opportunity.
Plus, Brandon Espinosa is set to take on Da’Marius Jones in the co-main event. If Espinosa makes the 205 lb. weight limit, the bout will be for Jones’s cruiserweight title.

World League Wrestling presents a strong card on Saturday, May 5 at its arena in Troy, Mo.
Missouri Wrestling Revival’s match of interest is Karim Brigante’s fifth defense of the State crown. He takes on New Breed Wrestling’s kingpin, Kyle Roberts.
Judging by rankings, Roberts is the toughest challenger any of the Missouri champions has faced in ten months.
The main event features underdog promotional champion Jon Webb taking on veteran “Superstar” Steve Fender.
Dynamo Pro Wrestling presents a double shot weekend in Saint Louis on Cinco de Mayo weekend.
The company returns to the Sports Academy in Glen Carbon on Friday, May 4 for the first time in 18 months. The Star Wars themed card is called “May the 4th be with you” for obvious reasons.
Matches have yet to be announced.
Bell at 8. Tickets are $15.
Dynamo Pro returns the next day for Cinco de Mayo on Cherokee Street on Saturday, May 5. Matches will be outside at (tentatively) Cherokee St & Iowa Ave in Saint Louis.
Two sessions will happen (at 2 and 4), with an extended intermission separating them.
Matches have yet to be announced.
Bell at 2. Admission is free but seating is not provided.
Karim Brigante and Jack Gamble square off in a featured bout for the Missouri Heavyweight Championship at Dynamo Pro’s upcoming card on Saturday, April 21 at Concordia Turners in St. Louis.
The bout is Brigante’s fourth defense and Gamble’s third shot (against a third unique champion too). The showdown is the first MWR MO title bout in St. Louis City in 2018.
Also on the card, the final match to crown a new D-1 Champion headlines. Six men will tangle in a probable brutal ladder match for the “stepping stone” belt that Michael Elgin vacated six months ago.
