Will Foster & Dingo Crack The Foundation in O’Fallon, Sept. 29?

The NWL debuts at the O’Fallon Elks Lodge in O’Fallon, Mo. on Friday, September 29.

The main event is going to be wild: a tornado match that pits Jack Foster & Dingo against The Foundation, Ace Steel and Michael Strider.  Anything goes; there are no disqualifications.

Note that Jeremy Wyatt is no longer scheduled for the tornado headliner.

Gary Jackson challenges for MWR’s Missouri Title for first time on “Hall of Fame” night, Sept. 9

If Gary Jackson beats Ace Hawkins on Saturday, September 9, at the South Broadway Athletic Club, “The Night Train” will be the State king for the first time in 14 years.

Jackson has not challenged for this version of the Missouri title, which was inaugurated in October 2015.  He has won his last four matches, beating: A.J. Williams, The Big Texan (twice), and Da’Marius Jones.

Not to be an afterthought, Ace Hawkins is defending for the second time since beating Brandon Espinosa in July.

Also on the card, the MMWA’s big belt and the 205 lb. class prize are to be defended in three-way matches.

Before the wrestling, come to South Broadway for the 2017 St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, where Bob Backlund and the late Édouard Carpentier will be honored.

Bob Backlund’s speech is at 4 P.M.  The hour includes a Q&A session.  Admission is $10.  For an additional $10, meet Bob and get his autograph.

Jon Webb challenges for Leland Race’s belt in an Iron Man match, Sept. 9!

WLW 9/9/17

The Race Wrestling Arena in Troy, Mo. hosts a huge main event on Saturday, September 9.  After their 25 minute (including overtime) draw last month, Leland Race and Jon Webb are set to meet again, but this time in an Iron Man match.

Race’s title is on the line, meaning that Webb could walk out with the heavyweight and junior heavyweight titles.

The wrestler who has scored the most falls at the end of the 30 minute mandatory time limit will be the winner.

NWL STL: Vega & Jay defend spirit of Anarchy against towering Maverick & Draper, Aug. 26

NWL STL 8/26/17

NWL STL returns home to Matteson Square Garden in St. Peters for its second event at the rink on Saturday, August 26.

The main event pits the two NWL city champions, Dak Draper and Maverick, against two longtime area favorites, Gary Jay and Davey Vega.

Also on the card, “Super” ACH is set to debut against Mike Outlaw.  ACH is very excited to debut for the NWL.

Dynamo Pro: Ace Hawkins heads back to Concordia-Turners to defend State title, Aug. 25

Ace Hawkins and Justin D’Air meet in the co-main event at Dynamo Pro’s card at Concordia Turners in Saint Louis on Friday, August 25.

The bout will be Hawkins’s first defense of his inter-promotional Missouri Championship of his second reign.  This will be D’Air’s second shot at the belt.

Also on the card, Brandon Aarons puts his promotional title up for grabs for the fifth time against “The Millennial” Danny Adams.  This is Adams’s first DPW title opportunity.

Moondog or Wylde: Who wins a Dog Collar match… for Wyldefyre, Aug. 19?

Moondog Rover takes on Curtis Wylde in the main event of SICW’s card at the East Carondelet Community Center on Saturday, August 19.

The bout will be a dog collar match, where both men are joined at the neck by a 10 foot strap.  The winner is decided by pinfall or submission and there are no disqualifications.

The winner will gain the managerial services of Wylde’s wife, Wyldefyre.  Wyldefyre has expressed a fondness for the Moondog over the past several months, much to the dismay of Curtis.

Moondog defends shiny new belt against Big Texan at South Broadway, Aug. 12

Moondog Rover has tasted the big MMWA gold and leather for the first time and he likes it.  His first challenge is Saturday, August 12 at the South Broadway Athletic Club.

The Big Texan will challenge for the heavyweight crown for the first time since December 2012.  Texan is coming off two consecutive singles losses to Gary Jackson, but he did win the Hillsdale battle royal last Saturday.

SICW & MMWA return to Hillsdale for free “Back-to-School” outdoor event, Aug. 5

SICW 8/5/17

The families of Hillsdale, Mo. may be surprised to find body-slamming heavyweights tangle right outside their doors on Saturday, August 5.

This free outdoor event, promoted by SICW and the MMWA, in conjunction with the Hillsdale Police, is half wrestling event and half community service event.

School supplies and items, such as bicycles, will be awarded to children in the area.  Non-residents are also welcome to attend the event on Jesse Jackson Ave.

Matches have yet to be announced.

Bell at noon.  The event is free, but chairs will not be provided.
