MMWA: Da’Marius Jones and Deacon Cash rematch for cruiser title, Jan. 13

Jones pins Cash
Da’Marius Jones pins Deacon Cash to win the MMWA Cruiserweight belt on December 2, 2017 (Photo: Joe Henley).

Deacon Cash held the MMWA Cruiserweight Championship for nine months in 2017.  He was so intertwined with the title, it became part of his identity.  That’s why “The Incomparable” one needs it back.

Cash gets his rematch against new champion “2.0” Da’Marius Jones on Saturday, January 13 at the South Broadway Athletic Club.

Last month, the rivals met in a brutal No Holds Barred match.  After Jones won the title, he attacked Cash with a steel chair at the behest of his friend A.J. Williams.  This was uncharacteristically heinous from the recent fan-favorite Jones.

The first card of each year at the historic SBAC is always standing-room-only, so get there early.

Brandon Aarons aims for Makaze in tag match after lighter fluid incident, Dec. 16

Dynamo Pro 12/16/17

The final wrestling event of 2017 in Greater St. Louis is presented by Dynamo Pro Wrestling on Saturday, December 16.  The card is at Concordia Turners in Saint Louis, Mo., Dynamo’s now-established home.

The main event is a tag team bout that combines the top four wrestlers in the company today.

Brandon Aarons was nearly set ablaze last month when Makaze doused him in lighter fluid and brandished a lighter.  Dingo made the save and Aarons is okay.  However, Brandon wants revenge against the sadistic Dynamo Pro champion Makaze.  He may get it in the tag match.

NWL UPDATE: Both KC and STL titles on the line in O’Fallon main event, Dec. 10

NWL 12/10/17

EDIT: Jeremy Wyatt won the Kansas City title in the NWL Rumble in Shawnee Mission, Kan. on Friday night.  The main event is now title vs. title.  Below is the original post.

Gary Jay is the king of wrestling in Saint Louis!  He returns home on Sunday, December 10 at the O’Fallon Elks Lodge in Missouri to defend his NWL title.

Based on records, his opponent Jeremy Wyatt is probably the betting favorite.  “The Monarch” Wyatt is in the midst of a powerful career resurrection.  What role will his faction, The Foundation, play in this match?

That was a rhetorical question, but… hopefully, none.
